KIR (Immunological Compatibility Test)

The KIR test analyzes the immune receptors of the mother’s NK lymphocytes to assess immunological compatibility with the embryo. This can help understand whether immunological factors are hindering implantation or causing recurrent pregnancy loss.

What is the KIR test?

The test is performed through a blood analysis of the woman and, in some cases, also of the partner, to identify KIR receptors and determine compatibility with the embryo.

It is recommended in cases of repeated implantation failure during assisted reproduction treatments or recurrent pregnancy loss without an apparent cause.
